https://www.hovatek.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=18802 but when i went to root i didnt select the img path for recovery img file in SPF tool , i just
chose the recovery option wich was already ticked after loading scatter file, and it was succesful then i realized my mistake and chose both the recovery option and the the img. path but it brought an error now my phone can boot into recovery mode but cant find sd card.

the phone is just stuck in preloader mode, disconnect/reconnect the battery and power on or plug the phone to charger for few hours.
Let know once you the phone boots up so we continue on rooting your device.

i did that but even when the battery charging shows up and i switch on the phone it does not go past "infinix powered by android" splash screen when i go to recovery mode, the recovery mode works fine apart from not bieng able to find SD card which makes recovery mode useless

What's the phone's build no.? (enter recovery mode, you will see it at the top).

do you remember the build number of your device before attempting to root?
if no, then try verifying the build number using system.img method at https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-16005.html

well i had no choice but to completely flash and restore stock firm ware on my phone infinix zero 4 plus(x602)(7.1.1) now here's the kicker i tried to re-upload the scatter file of recovery.img it brings this error [error:status _device_ctrl _exception(0xc0050001)] and further more when i try to boot into recovery mode it shows XOS chameleon logo with a red exclamation mark and no command written beneath it and the sim cards dont seem to detect signals switched on other wise it seems to work fine when switched on. checked build no. in options it is x602-H972AC-N-170606V48

if your phone is able to boot to homescreen, then what exactly is wrong with it and why are you trying to flash?
also attach a full screenshot of the error message

AND IT WAS SUCCESSFUL BUT I THOUGHT MAYBE I HAD MADE A MISTAKE SO I RETRIED IT EXCEPT THIS TIME WITH RECOVERY IMG FILE MANUALY LOADED IN AS SHOWN BELOW IN ATTACHMENT(SCREENSHOT4)
.png
Screenshot (4).png
Size: 116.88 KB / Downloads: 4

BUT ITS SHOWED AN ERROR LIKE IN SCREENSHOT 3
.png
Screenshot (3).png
Size: 121.02 KB / Downloads: 7

THAT WAS WHEN IT WAS STUCK IN BOOT LOOP AND I HAD TO FLASH MY WHOLE DEVICE USING STOCK ROM AND IN THE PROCCESS I LOST ALL MY DATA
NOW THE PHONE IS WORKING FINE EXCEPT FOR TWO ISSUES :-
1) RECOVERY MODE IS NOT WORKING ITS JUST SHOWING XOS CHAMELEON LOGO AND AN RED EXCLAMTION MARK WITH WORDS NO COMMAND WRITTEN . I REALY NEED RECOVERY MODE TO WORK IN ORDER TO ROOT MY PHONE
2) MY CARRIER SIGNAL ARE LOST DUE TO INVALID IMEI

For recovery mode, when it shows 'no command' hold power button then press volume+

For invalid IMEI, check settings>about to see if you have baseband, if you do, you just have to write IMEI using any of the methods here https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-116.html.

If you do not have baseband, you have to look for nvram for your phone and flash it or first try to fix it using miracle
