Initially the phone was malfunctioning, when someone sends text it doesn't come in. I checked the message center number and every possible settings that could affect text messaging but to no avail. Just before you ask, the sim works fine on my second phone; i could receive text messages.

How It Got Bricked

I couldn't think of any other better wayy to fix the issue, i decided to find a stock Rom for my device and flash it. I did a google search, i found Gionee_M6_GN8003_MT6755_BBL7515A_T0115.zip. After flashing my phone with this firmware, it doesn't come on anymore; only shows led light when connected.

....
did you by any chance take note of the build number before flashing?
have you tried disconnecting / reconnecting the battery of the device? then see if it can power on

Also check for part of your build number on the board while you are at it. Or you can take about 3 zoomed shots of the board so we can check with you.

If you can't disassemble then it'll have to be trial and error on as many M6 firmware as you can find

I think i know what the problem was but no solution yet.

Gionee M6 varies!

The firmware i used was meant for Gionee M6 whereas my
phone seems to be Gionee M6 Plus.

If i can get flash file for Gionee M6 plus i think my phone will come on.
