Hi Hovatek.. I know help is mostly, if not entirely, offered for MTK device problems but hope you bare with me. I have an iPhone 6 Plus, details in this  [Image: 1171-1565a0d12b37369c7ee2e585e9ce914c.jpg] image, the device was working fine until I had it reset, upon turning on, it couldn't activate succesfully, this  [Image: 1173-ad523a89febdd33823e904bab671cd5d.jpg] was the error I was getting and even iTunes couldn't activate it as it was also giving me this [Image: 1172-98bccc447a565bb17c03fdfce0607865.jpg] error.. I tried to force restart the device, I tried to restore and update the firmware to iOS 12.3.1(Not downloaded with iTunes) using the .ipsw file in iTunes, the firmware updated successfully but still coulddn't activate.. IS THERE A WAY TO FIX MY DEVICE? WHAT SHOLUD I DO? PLEASE ANY HELP WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED...

Upgrading the OS via iTunes in DFU ought to fix it

So you mean to say, if I download, update and restore the firmware using iTunes and not the .ipsw file, it might fix the problem???
Need be to mention, the .ipsw is of the same version as displayed by iTunes, i.e iOS 12.3.1, now I noticed iTunes might take long to download the firmware so I resorted to using the .ipsw iOS which downloaded faster using the browser.. So is there a difference?

After downloading the .ipsw file via browser did you use iTunes to restore the phone?

Yes, I used iTunes @nd I noticed the firmware updated successfully from 12.1.? to 12.3.1 but didn't solve the problem.

Had you done an iTunes backup before you reset it?

How did you have it reset? Are you certain there isn't activation lock on it?

Normal data wipe... There is no activation lock. Wait, even if they were, how does that help the situation again?
