Hi guys, i have a Tecno AL86 clone (mt6592). When i received it was having issues which needed flashing, to be precise setting, phone, contacts etc was force closing when opened.
I did a factory reset but still the problem wasn't solve and decided to proceed with the flashing.
The problem was that, i was unable to backup the original firmware.
After successful flashing the phone won't boot up. When i plugged the it detects as vcom preloader... in device manager. I tried various flashing option and firmware.
First firmware i flashed link https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-17000.html
But unfortunately i think all the firmware i have tried is from the same location (Resetguru.info) including the one on this forum.
So if anyone happened to have a different firmware of the same phone, kindly help me out or please tell me something i haven't done or have to do to bring the phone back to life.
Thanks..

when you perform the factory reset initially, was it successful? and if yes, then did the phone go through initial setup?

Yah it was able to factory reset but strangely there was nothing like initial setup, it just boot to desktop after reset.
So i was aware that for some reasons it didn't actually factory reset the phone, it just show me reset done and boot with all the phone data still intact.

flashing won't fix this, the emmc chip (hardware) is faulty and needs to be replaced
