[Please help] TWRP for Blackview BV9800Pro (MT6771V/CT) Android PIE
(18-04-2020, 04:55 AM)lypsky bv9800pro. TWRP does not restore partitions from backup.
(11-06-2020, 09:14 AM)tomron Same here downloaded your TWRP for BV9800 Pro (https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-325...#pid189457) everything beside the Backup/Restore function works...
Unfortunately I don't manage it to backup my system by TWRP. I can produce a backup and restore the backup... all fine and successfull but after TWRP restored the system the phone will not boot, just the loading symbol appears but then nothing, there is no progress. Also wiping cache improves nothing of the behavior, even when I format data, wipe cache and dalvik nothing changes.
When I flash the system partion with SP Flashtool system boots into OS normally. Any suggestions ?
Phone BV9800 (non Pro)
OS Havoc OS 3.5
(29-04-2020, 09:33 AM)neorob HI! I installed the patch and touch didn't work anymore, but in the TWRP. So I reflashed boot.img and patched witch magisk (in this way touch works but I have the userdata partition encrypted). Is there any other way to get userdata decrypted?same happened to me. i noticed when installing the no verity zip that it said nvdata failed to mount. then not only did the touchsreen not work properly in the system setup screen (it would occasionaly let me select the vision setup at the bottom right corner) but it had no signal for the sim card. reflashed a magisk patched boot and then could complete the setup no worries. i have not tried the other methods of unlocking the encryption have you had any success with it?

Would like to take backups and restore...
Default encryption password as well as my defined PIN code don't work. Always stays there for quite a bit then fails to decrypt.
