Thanks for all the help guys. But as it turns out, the phone was probably a clone.
Any ideas on what to do. I tried to get the clone firmware (which was exactly what I saw in the device before flashing, android 9.0) but all sources of the firmware are paid and have passwords on the zip

it's one of two things, either you buy the firmware from the paid source or look for a working phone (same clone model) to backup firmware from
