Hi, my device name is infinix hot 9 (x655c).
I used this guide @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-32719.html method 3 to disable dm verity and @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-21427.html to root my phone. Everything worked well. I installed root checker and it showed successful. After like two days when I decided to switch off my phone to charge it, it bootloaded into fastboot mode and remained there. When I flashes the phone, it will boot up and then I lost the root privileges. When I root it again, it boots into fastboot mode again until I flash it again. Is there any solution to this?

immediately after flashing patched boot, where you able to boot into homescreen? or it goes straight to fastboot?
if you got to homescreen, did you do anything else other than a restart?

Just after the fastboot reboot command, it displays the infinix logo then goes into fastboot mode

Try disable dmverity but don't flash magisk patched boot. Does it boot to home screen?

I disabled just dm verity, it goes into fastboot mode. I flashed it with just my vbmeta.img, it boots up

Yes
I just remembered something. At the biginning after disabling dm-verity with empty vbmeta, and then rooted the phone with patched boot.img. Everything went well until I started seeing a pop-up about (unfortunately a file has stopped working > i can't remember the file. In order to stop the pop-up, i disabled the file. Everything was still working fine until I switched off the phone. Booting up bootloops into fastboot mode. Now, disabling dm-verity automatically bootloops into fastboot mode

can you confirm if your device is running the same build number as it was the very first time you successfully disabled dm_verity?
