Please Hovatek, i must commend you for your job based on responses to other people here.
I have a p5 that keeps bootlooping and i've downloaded the CWM recovery from you people which i appreciate.
I've followed the instructions and restored but it's still bootlooping on an xperia rom image i tried to flash earlier.
The main problem started when i tried formatting my Sd card via recovery and i formatted everything in the mount and storage option. The Sd-ext, etc.
Please help.

1. I need you to describe in detail what happens when you try powering up the phone
2. Can your phone boot into Clockworkmod recovery
3. Do you have the p5 MTK backup or a working p5 around you?

no. When you're in Clockworkmod recovery, MTK droid tools will be able to detect your phone and back it up. it you're having difficulty with this then ignore it

1. Do you now have the MTK backup for p5?
2. Please, explain the bootloop issue clearer before we proceed with sp flash tool

Yes i now have the MTK backup.
When i tried restoring the CWM recovery you gave me this are the results below.
Checking MD5 sums...
Erasing boot before restore...
Restoring boot image...
Restoring system...
Restoring data....
Restoring .android_secure...
Restoring cache...
Sd-ext.img not found. Skipping restore of /sd-ext.
Restore completed.
But when i reboot it still bootloops.

use sp flash tool @ http://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-159.html . you're to format the phone (Don't format Bootloader, ) then flash the MTK backup
