Factory Reset Protection (FRP) is a security feature. If you do a factory reset on a Spreadtrum Android phone which has already been associated with a Google account (Under Settings > Accounts) then you'll be greeted with a Verify Your Account screen (like below) when you boot:

This is FRP and is controlled by the /persist partition in Spreadtrum (its /frp in Mediatek)

Important Notice
  • Infinity Chinese Miracle II SPD requires a hardware dongle to work. Only installing the module and running it won't work
  • If you've chosen to use a loader version (dongle not required) and get a warning from your antivirus, you are entirely responsible for choosing to let the loader run anyway
  •  Ensure to run the latest version of the module as that would support more chipsets

Quote:In this video tutorial, I'll be explaining how to bypass Factory Reset Protection or FRP on a Spreadtrum Android phone using Infinity Chinese Miracle 2 SPD. FRP usually comes to play when you do a factory reset on a phone which has already been linked to a Google account. If -for example- under Settings - Account, you sign into a Google account on the phone, and then you do a factory reset, once you boot, the phone is going to ask you to verify your account by entering the username and password of the Google account which was linked to the phone before the factory reset.

If you don't know the username and password, you'll be locked out of the phone. This guide is going to show you how to bypass that screen using Infinity CM2 SPD. Make sure you have the hardware dongle and install the module (then launch). I should also mention that you should install your Spreadtrum drivers because you're going to need drivers to enable the tool communicate with the phone. We already have a guide on how to install Spreadtrum drivers so make sure you check out our website, see the guide and video.

Install your Spreadtrum drivers on the PC then you can come back to this procedure. I have my module installed. Next, launch the CM2 SPD. It usually takes a while for the dashboard to come up so you have to be a bit patient. Alright! its up. Now, select your phone's chipset [selecting my chipset]. Next up, go to the Security (Service) tab where you're going to be doing the FRP bypass. You should have your Spreadtrum phone which you want to bypass FRP on. So you power it off. Under the Service tab, you click on Format FR / Reset Phone / Clear FRP button then wait for the tool to display ==== Wait for phone..

Now, power off the phone still with battery inside hold the volume down button then connect it to the PC via USB cord. The tool should detect the phone and begin to work on clearing the FRP partition which is going to eventually bypass that FRP screen. [bypassing FRP] Its very important you don't disconnect at this point. Alright! Great! That is done. Now power up the phone and you should not be presented with the FRP or verify your account screen.

So that's how to bypass Factory Reset Protection on a Spreadtrum Android phone using Chinese Miracle II SPD
