I have been trying to flash a patched boot image file (to install Magisk) using the fastboot command. My bootloader is unlocked.
But when I enter the command, it just doesn't write the image. It's blank until I remove the USB connection, and then it gives the following error: FAILED (Status read failed (Too many links)).
I've tried different USB cables, and also a different device, to no avail.
I'm not sure if it is worth mentioning, but when I boot up the device, a warning message shows up at the top:
Code:
"INFO: LOCK FLAG IS : UNLOCK!!!
WARNING: LOCK FLAG IS : UNLOCK, SKIP VERIFY!!!"
What does skip verify here mean?
