This is risky since you've not backed up your firmware but you could root using magisk @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-21427.html then backup recovery using adb @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-1405.html
That is assuming its a full boot.img (not a patch) and its compatible with your present build number
