The easiest way is too root it using TWRP Recovery, see https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-21839.html
First download this file: https://download.chainfire.eu/1122/Super...eve_file=1
and place it on your Internal storage or SD Card and that's recommended.
After making your own TWRP recovery you need to flash it using SP Flash tool, but you will need the scatter file. You can get your stock ROM components from here: https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-23177.html
After flashing the TWRP Recovery, open up recovery mode on your phone using Power button and Volume up button, (select Recovery if it's shown if it's not then TWRP Recovery should open without doing anything.) after that select install
Then select the SuperSU file you've downloaded. (If you downloaded the file on SD Card then change the storage to SD Card).
Then swipe to flash.
Reboot the system.
Your phone must be rooted.
If you want to get your stock recovery back you can easily flash the stock recovery using SP Flash tool.
