backup your phone's firmware using wwr @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-21970.html
grab boot.img and root using magisk manager @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-21427.html
If you still need custom recovery after rooting the phone then port using the tool @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-21839.html
Note: Camon X Pro has a secure boot, so you will need Download Agent to readback on sp flash tool. Get DA @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-23243.html
