I have just flashed the stock rom from this site and then I encountered this problem at the wifi selection scren. 

Does this pose any problem and can I just ignore this?
Also, the MAC address keeps on changing after reboot, so the WIFI method does not affect me.

it doesnt pose a threat.
follow the guide @  https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-117.html and ensure to change the file permission
you could do a factory reset before the procedure
