HELP!!Tecno M9 (A3) Internal Storage Missing Space

#1
Sad  (This post was last modified: 12-16-2014, 02:46 PM by batman. )

The internal storage on my tecno phantom a3 (m9) shows

Total space : 0.98GB
available: 83.36mb
apps: 152mb
cashed data: 1.74mb

if u add up all these, it would be 237.1 mb, where is the rest 743mb??
i cannot install any app as it requires atleast 100mb to free. I dont have any downloaded app on my phone, just stock apps. How do I solve this problem and be able to install some apps. I had root permissions on my phone and by mistakely had deleted the supersu from the phone, i had also transferred some apps to the sd card using movetosdcard app. The phone is on Stock ROM, stock recovery and hasnt been flashed. The phone is working perfectly, apart from the apps part.

PS: The graph indicates i have a lot of free memory (around 70%) but still cant install apps.

Screenshot placed below for more help.

Your 'missing' megabytes are well accounted for because:
1. system isnt listed there and system partition does occupy space
2. the list you see only tells you the size of files your phone recognizes. files like .log , .inf, .exe etc are not recognized by your phone by default so they should appear under unknown or miscellaneous if there was such a category
3. log files also occupy space but might not be shown on that list.
