[Please help] Default storage is SD Card/External Storage

Check the ram disk for the vold.fstab file

@@ there is no vold.fstab file. I used the backup file that i mentioned and also a new ROM that I downloaded. @@

Won't work in your case then. Install Romtoolbox lite. I need to verify something

In root browser, open Sdcard. Let me know if it's your phone memory or sd card it opens

external sd card.. not internal storage. is this correct?

Yes, that means your SD card is seen as SD card and Phone storage seen as phone storage.

But the thing is when I install apps, the apps will create folder in the SD card and not internal storage.

most apps do this and its better for you. you could move the app to phone storage if you wish (settings > apps)
