Use MTK Engineering Mode.apk to fix null imei.
You were supposed to copy the twrp image into the firmware folder before flashing

its the same build as the firmware @ https://docs.google.com/uc?id=0B1ukKq9qH...t=download from which the new TWRP was ported. it ought to work on your phone

yeah i understand but the two recovery does not have the save size.yours have more than 12MB and the stock recovery have less than 8MB. When i replace the recovery like you said,it change de size of the total stock build... maybe there are the problem of the cheksum error.

You're supposed to disable checksum.
Here's what. 
Put the firmware aside for now.
Flash the twrp image twice before trying to boot into twrp recovery

Dont work bro. is there another person who tryed this and confirm that the twrp is working? maybe i should wait another porting... going to look another way to root that unrooting hard C8 device

We have ported TWRP for a third variant of Tecno C8. Download it @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-1.html . It worked for the tester. lets know how it goes for you
