Good day sir...please a brown new iphone 4s was ship to me from a brother in abroad...please i need you to enlighten me on how to unlock(if necessary),manage the phone.

Thanks bro,buh d issue here is that,is it the phone that will tells the kind of network operator i can use on it or does it support all network sims?

when locked, only 1 network works (the original carrier). The unlock makes it support all netwoorks

Ok buh right i cant tell d actual version or ios of d phone because i cant go to setting to check and for now the phone seems useless,please kindly state all the require applications to unlock the phone,i went through the thread on how to unlock iphone in d forum but didnt understand any of it...please help

the link explains everything step by step. first, what OS is your phone running on?

Cant tel what the OS is because all i see anytime i switch d phone on is <choose a network or conect to itunes>

you should be able to use the iPhone without a SIM. find a way to get beyond that network selection either by cancelling orselecting just any network.
you OS version is located at Settings > General > About > Version

Have tried all my posible best but it keep asking me to choose a network or conect to itunes or conect to a Wi-fi to set up the phone...please help

create a Wi-Fi hotspot and proceed with the setup. waiting....
