first of all I have micromax canvas a1 phone
and my brother has lava iris x1 phone
here are lava iris x1 phones specs : gsmarena.com/lava_iris_x1-6399.php
as you can see it has broadcom chipsets
.
.
where my phone is a mtk device
and after rooting if anything goes wrong
I can simply flash stock rom through sp flash tool in my phone
so I feel safe that no one can kill my device :p
.
.
but for my brother's phone is different
there's no guide for unlocking its bootloader >> flashing custom recovery >> flashing SuperSU and get root access
like my phone have
.
my brother wanna root his phone
but I told him that it's not safe
cause if anything goes wrong
he can't flash stock rom !!!
I know we can flash nanandroid backup
through custom recovery
but what if custom recovery also gets corrupted !!!!
so please tell me a safe way to root this device
or tips for safety Smile
thanks in advance Wink

that's the problem bro
I can root with king root
but what if things goes wrong after rooting ?
well, I can flash nan Android backup but
what if even custom recovery gets corrupted or kernel corrupts
and nowadays even viruses are coming
for rooted phones
so it maybe really risky
without a way to flash full factory image
like I do on my phone with spflash tool

there's always risks associated with rooting. Kingroot is relatively safe but there's always a chance that something goes wrong. its up to him to decide to root or not to root; considering the fact that rooting voids warranty
