Hello everyone,
I really need help. A friend asked me to fix his tablet because it had malwares, so I rooted the device, and deleted the bad files, but then i got error messages, and at the end it went off. Now when i turn it on, it's stuck on the ACER logo, MT65xx goes on and off, I install all the drives but still goes on and off. I sent through adb sideload the stock firmware Acer_AV0K0_A3-A20_1.018.00_WW_GEN1_DCC thinking that i was going to unbrick the device but it didn't work. I tried smart phone flash with the 1.018.00 firmware but I keep getting BROM ERROR (2004). What can I do to unbrick it? Thank you everyone!

There's a fix for error 2004 at that link. Are you certain you followed it?
If so, does error 2004 persist?

Yes I followed it, when I hit download, I plug in the tablet to the computer, the computer first recognizes it, then rejects it, and then sp says BROM error: 2004

Use Another PC. Ensure to change the compatibility settings and ensure the phone is off during flashing

I changed compatibility twice, first windows XP, and then windows 7, still getting the same error. Also the battery is always unplugged when the flashing is happening.

Good news! I fixed it! As I mentioned previously, I sent the stock firmware through adb sideload, and it was simply ready. In case other people will be reading this post on how to unbrick a Acer A3-A20 Iconia Tab 10, all you have to do is to do:

1. Download android sdk
2. Unzip file, and move it to C:/, and rename it antools
3. Download Adb, and unzip it inside antools>platform-tools
4. Download your tablet stock firmware rom, without unzipping it, and move it to antools>platform-tools
5. Enter android recovery mode, and then adb
6. use cmd normally, and type Cd.. (twice)
7. Type cd antools, and then type cd platform-tools (the folder where you moved your stock firmware, and adb
8. Type adb devices
9. Type "adb sideload filename" (without quotes, and the file name is the name+extension of your stock firmware.)
Example: adb sideload SDs_Acer_AV0K0_A3-A20_1.018.00_WW_GEN1.zip
10. Be patient until the file has been sent 100%
11. Once it's done, reboot the system, keep the tablet plugged inside the pc
12. The computer will recognize the tablet but won't find the driver, so go to device manager, update the driver which you will find in portable devices, using the mt65xx usb driver.
13. Once the driver has been updated, you will see the driver name change to (A3-A20), and then the tablet turned on by itself.

Don't ask me how, that is what happened to me, and now I'm happy to give back the tablet.

Hurray!!!
