We've just acquired an SPD phone running on Lollipop.  We've however not resumed actived SPD dev work

anything? what would the ubipac partition be? if it is a .pac file how do I successfully extract it? I've tried before using the dd command, but it didn't work.

No. I've asked BLU again, and they still won't give me the firmware. I did find out though that my version of the Dash JR 3G (the one with the spreadtrum processor) is version 1. Version 2 is the more common version which has a mediatek processor.

I just found out that my phone uses the ubifs filesystem not the yaffs filesystem. How do I extract the stock rom? I've found it, but after I use dd, I can't open it as it claims that it isn't an archive.

I took it straight from the build.prop
