Ok @ user005. Use MTK Droid Tools to restore the IMEI. Make sure u insert the first 14 digits only.

Did you delete the existing mpb001 file > replace it with the newly created one > wipe your phone in recovery mode then reboot?

All i did was jst factory reset. I hd done all ur solution al t no avail. Initialy it ws invalid imei bt it change to no service now. I notic thrr is no file in the RADIO folder whic could b d prob. Expt ur response soon. Tnks

do you have access to a working phone of the same model?

No, bt if i got one i think what i need to do is use your imeiradio app to backup from the good one and restore on the bad one bt i dont have same model good one. Any help.

@androgen if i use MTK Droid to check it says MT6589(MT8389 is Fake).

If you get a working phone of the same model then an NVRAM backup & restore using MTK Droid tools is all you need. If you can't get a working phone of the same model then you need to create an MB0B_001 file > delete the exisiting one > replace with new one then restart your phone or wipe data / factory reset. Were you able to successfully create the MB0B_001 file?
