How to Root a Xgody N9200
(05-03-2016, 04:56 PM)hovatek Now you've got me confused.
Are you saying your phone's recovery partition is corrupted and you can't enter recovery mode or you're saying you want a custom recovery for your phone model?
(05-03-2016, 05:39 PM)Buleste I want to have CWM or TWRP on my phone but I cannot add it as both my boot.img and my recovery.img are secure and all the tools I have tried have been unable to do it.
Please find the boot.img and recovery.img attached.
(07-03-2016, 11:10 AM)Buleste Please find attached the best scatter file I could make.
(07-03-2016, 08:40 PM)Buleste Thanks. I hope you have better joy than me. I'm too used to "normal" Android phones.
(07-03-2016, 10:33 PM)hovatek Here's the TWRP image @ https://docs.google.com/uc?id=0B5QDTTBwl...t=download
flash using SP flash tool @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-159.html
let me know how it goes
(08-03-2016, 01:00 AM)Buleste Unfortunately I got the following error.
BROM ERROR:S_STORAGE_NOT_MATCH (3183)

BROM ERROR:S_STORAGE_NOT_MATCH (3183)
must be the scatter file.
try flashing the stock recovery.img using the scatter file you sent and let me know how that goes
(08-03-2016, 01:54 PM)Buleste Same error message. I can't get a scatter file through droid tools so I have to use the Firmware.info to create a scatter file and then droid tools insists on saving it as MT6516_Android_scatter.txt which Flashtool throws an error up "Error:Initialising scatter failed. Please check the name of the scatter file which you load is legal."
