Pls how do I format a PC (window XP) without using a recovery disk?

do you mean without using an XP cd at all? like on a PC that doesnt have a functional CD/DVD drive?

No, I mean I don't have a CD, though my PC has a functional CD drive.
But I don't have the CD

you'll need to either buy the CD or download the ISO online and create a bootable CD / USB from it

you should first check your bios setup to be sure that your PC supports booting from a USB. else you'd just be wasting your time

see how to create a bootable USB drive @ https://forum.hovatek.com/thread-1025.html . boot into BIOS by tapping F10 upon boot. it should be somewhere under your boot config
