In this guide, we will look at how to remove bios password, through CMOS battery clear

CMOS BATTERY RECALL:
battery that maintains the time, date, hard disk and other configuration settings in the CMOS memory. CMOS batteries are small and are attached directly to the motherboard

CMOS is also sometimes referred to as non-volatile BIOS memory.

This battery stores cmos settings, date, time and other boot configuration settings


When CMOS battery is removed for some peroid of time, all these settings may be lost permanently, on the next boot may be RESETTED

watch now as cmos battery is taken to clear bios password

1. Turn off and unplug, remove battery and start unscrew process

This battery should be kept approx 1-3hrs for proper action

This should initiate cmos reset on next boot
