#1

For sometime now, I've been trying to backup my tecno l5 ROM using mtk droid tool with no success. Always getting an error about system not been mounted read-write

see https://forum.hovatek.com/thread-588.html for How to install ADB and Fastboot on a PC

try running these commands in adb to mount Android Device as read/write.
* adb devices
* adb root
* adb shell mount -o rw,remount /

if it fails try
* adb devices
* adb root
* adb remount
* adb shell su -c "mount -o rw,remount /"

if successful then proceed with backing up

After all said done, I'm now getting "not read Block: boot"

After some research. I discovered that it's possible that I have a locked bootloader. My problem now is how to get the unlock code in order to unlock it. Any solution?

MTK droid tools won't work for your kind of device.
Readback one partition at a time using https://forum.hovatek.com/thread-526.html
