[Please help] How to UNBRICK Gionee M2

Hello,

pls, I need help on how to Unbrick my Gionee M2 (4G) ; i got it bricked while trying to update to Kitkat and it never turned ON since den.

I have downloaded all the files needed including the M2 JellyBean StockROM, still get errors on the SP flash Tool (brom error s_ft_enable_dram_fail (4032)).


Please, someone shld help me with the detailed directions cause am not sure if am using The SP FLASH Tool wrongly

thats a mismatch error. means the file(s) you're trying to flash arent compatible with your phone model. 
1. Are you certain its the 4GB and not 8GB M2 backup you should be using?
2. Have you tried both M2 4GB jellybean and Kitkat Stock ROMs? and where did you get them from?

What you can try is to uninstall all preloader, vcom and mtk drivers using usb deview then manually install vcom drivers uisng https://forum.hovatek.com/thread-440.html
next, delete the Sp flash tool folder then re-extract and try flashing the files again

The Gionee M2 1 have internal storage (4.2 Gig and app once told me 4336MB) is not up to 8G (i believe my Gionee M2 shld be 4G), trying what u instructed now, will give you the feedback....thanks. have tried both Jelly Bean and Kitkat Stock ROM

I have tried using a window 7 and disable the verified signature on windows 8 (which is the system am using now)...i was able to install the drivers and my system is communicating with my Gionee M2....but still having same error (brom error s_ft_enable_dram_fail (4032)). Pls, i dont know what am doing wrong, pls Help....Thanks

Its clearly an incompatible backup. How many Gionee M2 backups do you have there?

Its clearly an incompatible backup. How many Gionee M2 backups do you have there?


Thanks for your time Admin, ... 2 Kitkat stock ROM and 1 Jelly Bean Stock ROM

Downloaded the jellyBean from http://www.mediafire.com/download/9lg7sc...0101-T5163.
and one kitkat frrom Gionee site (which i can call the upgrade) and the other from http://www.mediafire.com/download/47i28d..._T8090.zip.

If the 4GB version is giving this error, its only fair you try the 8GB version. if this gives the same error then we now focus on internal causes like version of SP flash tool used, drivers etc
