No...the phone just keeps rebooting...I can't even put it in recovery or any mode.

ran a quick search for the firmware but nothing came up.
can you somehow get access to a working phone of the same model?

you'd have to keep searching for the stock rom
BTW how did you confirm that the device is an mtk device?

BTW how did you confirm that the device is an mtk device?

I used an app called cpu-z to see the Rom name and chipset type. But what I saw as the Rom name was Samsung Galaxy Note 5 instead of Samsung Galaxy A7100 then chipset was mtk6580
