[Please help] Infinix X551 goes off

My infinix hot note pro x551 goes off atyms after i finish taking a call. after some minutes, it comes on (that is after I've tried rebooting it). Pls what might be the possible cause of this problem?? because i noticed it started after i downgraded my phone from lollipop back to kitkat

have you tried doing a factory reset?

BTW you can always upgrade back to lollipop

have you tried doing a factory reset?

BTW you can always upgrade by to lollipop

no I've not tried running a factory reset. but i would do it now

I tried the factory reset and it did not work, i tink it's my sensor thats affected. and i noticed this issue after i downgraded from Lollipop 5.1 back to 4.4.2

Why did you downgrade? If downgrading to kikkt is causing this, why not upgrade back to the previous version. Have you checked the battery to see if it is not loose in the phone?

it was on kitkat and den i wanted it on lollipop, upgraded instead of stock rom the person that upgraded it put custom rom, i noticed and wanted a downgrade back, after downgrading some weeks later i noticed the issue. now recently av observed d fone n personally i tink it's a fault of my sensor. any ways of fixing a faulty sensor

I think what happens is that your screen goes black whenever you put it close to your ear but doesn't come back on immediately you remove it from your ear. If it's this then something is blocking your sensor. Did you add a screen protector?

I've had the screen protector since i bought the fone. pls yu got any ideas of common sensor faults and how to fix dem? that's if the issue is a sensor issue
