i have hp pro pc it is not responding to any usb device including the key board and mouse though it boots well but you cant operate.during powering the keyboard responds to the lights only nothing else.please help.

* is the default keyboard and mouse working properly?

NOT AT ALL THE DEFAULT MOUSE AND KEYBOARD ARE NOT WORKING.THE ISSUE STARTED AFTER POWER INTERRUPTIONS INFACT THE PC COULD BOOT BUT NO DISPLAY IN THE MONITOR BUT AFTER SOMETIME THE MONITOR COULD DISPLAY THE THE MENTION PERIPHERAL COULD NOT WORK.INFARCT THE HARD DISK WAS DAMAGED AND I HAD TO REPLACE .

so no peripharal device gets detected? even USB drives?

Might be a motherboard issue.
are you somehow able to get the PC into BIOS?

did you ever take the PC apart (dismantle down to the motherboard) ?
if yes
then check if you connected the keyboard and mouse connector properly

seems like a faulty motherboard issue
you'd have to take the PC to an engineer
