Xperia Z3 Compact can't flashboot.

#1

Hi,

OS: Win 7 64bits
Device: Sony Xperia Z3 Compact
Region: western europe: Iso latin1

Soft:
* flashtool-0.9.22.0-windows.exe from http://www.flashtool.net/downloads_windows.php
* Generic Android 6.0.1 (for Sony XPERIA Z3 Compact: D5803 23.5.A.0.570 firmware) from https://depositfiles.com/files/t2khqjxeg, aka 1.7Gb

Unfortunately, while I was flash booting the previous Android version (D5803_Concept_Marshmallow), it was interrupted, resulting into the Z3 compact switching on, but no boot.

OK, could do immediately, tried away with newest version.

My procedure:
1/ Copy the D5803_23.5.A.0.570_RU.tft file to C:\Users\Yourname\.flashTool\firmwares.

2/ Admin execute Flashtool-drivers.exe
select: Flashmode + Sony Z3 Compact
and proceed to install

3/ Run in admin mode FlashTool64.exe with or without plugging the Z3 switched off.
Click on the Thunder icon "Flash device" and select Flashmode
Oups, no firmware appears.

What can I do?
Thanks

I believe you're following the guide @ http://www.gizmobolt.com/2015/04/09/how-...-manually/
which directory were you asked to copy the firmware after launching flash tool?
