In my prsonal experience with mtk devices iv come to realize spflashtool v5.1524 is more stable or rather it favours me more, running on Win10 64bit but its always advisable to have a couple of spflashtool versions and especially the latest one.

As Pline said SP flash tools v5.1524
but always good to have different version inlcuding the latest
except you wish to use BOXes
