[Headline] Mediatek company to launch Pump express 3.0 fast charge technology.

#1

For those familiar with Qualcomm's fast charge ability understands the happy feeling you get when you plug your phone and after few minutes you can proudly unplug your phone and go out with it or browse wholeheartedly.
We all know one of the weak points of smartphones is the battery capacity though smartphone and tech companies have been trying to strengthen this weak side with big battery capacity and fast charge ability..
Mediatek,  qualcomm and oppo group have been leading in this for smarthphones..
Well Mediatek is set to release Pump express 3.0.

What is pump express 3.0

The company said the Pump Express 3.0 is capable of charging a smartphone battery from 0% to 70% in 20 minutes, though no news on how big the battery should be.  In addition to this, the company has also mentioned that you can get up to an hour of talk time if you charge your smartphone for five minutes using Pump Express 3.0. Isnt this awesome?

“The engineering challenge in the smartphone world today is satisfying consumer demand for powerful, rich multimedia features without needing to plug in their phones all day long. Our technology lets consumers power up quickly to stay connected, on the go and using their favorite applications whether for work or play instead of tethered to an outlet,” said Jeffrey Ju, Executive Vice President and co-Chief Operating Officer at MediaTek.

Pump express 3.0 is the first in the world that enables the use of Type-C usb for direct charging.  he company says that direct charging bypasses charging circuitry inside the phone, which prevents the device from overheating and directs electrical current directly to the phone’s battery. MediaTek assures us that the company’s new charging solution is ‘ultra safe’.
Would be made available in Helio P20 series of SoCs, which means we’ll start seeing it by the end of this year, says MediaTek.

for my micromax canvas a1 device with mt6582 chipsets there is a kernel called "thunder zap" in which we have option (thunder zap kernel controlling app) to increase charging speed by increasing AC charing current mA Big Grin

Is it applicable to any MT6582 devices?

it's a kernel and official kernel controlling app
therefore as one phones kernel cant work on another device
it WON'T work directly on any mt6582 chipset device!!!
this thunderzap kernel but will work on any 'android one' 1st generation based device
as all 'android one' devices has same hardware Smile
