I left it on charge for about 2 hours but after I tried to reflash it by connecting it to the PC, the PC still does not recognize that anything has been connected to it and SP flash tool does not see it either.

How did you charge it did you charge it externally using a battery charger?

Hello, sorry for the silence. I charged it on the external charger. I tried it today with the battery removed. I connected the phone (with the removed battery) to the usb port. When I maintained the volume up button and switch on button, the computer signaled with a sound, that something has been connected, and then it disconnects on its like 1 - 2 second later.

I just tried that. With the battery in, I held the start-up button with volume down but it did not work. I tried again after removing the battery and connecting it again to the PC and it reacted the same way as before. Please what can be the cause?
