Press windows button and R simultaneously to open RUN; the type cmd to open command prompt. In command prompt, type diskpart and afterwards; type list disk to see if it will show up.

The space is missing. Bro, do you remember the size of the files which were on it because at this stage, we have to format the disk and restore the files later. Shall we?

Yes we can format,its less than 10gb of data had stored out of the whole hdd of 500gb

Okay, we will restore to obtain the drive space but first of all; try aoime backkupper to clone the files to a drive different from the disk 2 before we tackle the disk 2

Was the disk initially in a different external case? if yes, you can consider installing disk in the same case.

if not then you can try to initialize the disk.
its the original external case

Does the disk contain important information?
