Have you been able to clone the files to a different drive using aoime backupper?

it reads the disk as 0.00kb so it doesn't clone,then it gives some kind of i/o error
under device manager it displays:-WD my passport 0740usb device

okay try this; if you have a windows DVD; try as if you are going to install the windows on that drive and see if it works. if it works, dont format; go straight and install the windows on it

attach a screenshot of Device Manager when the hard drive gets detected
