Tecno P9 4.2 Userdata and cache

Dear Team,

I formatted a tecno P9 4.2 hoping to restore it with the mtk backup i got from hovatek, but i started having boot issues cos i didnt have the Userdata and Cache in the downloaded rom.

could you advise me on what to do?

They're optional files. Just do a factory reset in recovery mode

The phone isnt responding to any button pressed; it just shows tecno then reboots; i cant even access recovery or factory mode

volume up then power button for recovery, volume down plus power button for factory mode, but notwithstanding, the phone's just unresponsive, it keeps refusing to boot system or recovery, it just keeps rebooting every 5 seconds at the Tecno boot logo

ok. does it show the charging sign when switched off and connected to power? and whats the battery %?

its totally unresponsive cos the battery's now low, so It doesnt charge when powered down, unless i unsolder the battery's + terminal, plug in the charger, then re-insert the battery's terminal after 30 seconds, and instead of charging, it boots up, gets stuck at Tecno logo, then reboots
