Has anyone gotten the boom j8 rooted as all other root methods are not working.

I have managed to install philiz recovery v6 via adb and boot to recovery, tried to root rom using kitchen i ended up with status 0 error, now stuck at stauts 6 error. could you cook up a stock j8 rom using the kitchen, would be great or any alternate way to root

my android version is 5.1, kingroot doesnt have stretegy for root yet detects device as j8 but no root

have tried all methods upto iroot i ended up porting philis recovery using adb but when i install super su it tells me install supersu in gmarket

download supersu flashable zip @ https://docs.google.com/uc?id=0B_-waNKLv...t=download
then flash it through philz recovery

I tried out that method it finishes successfully with a pop up that i should download super su from mraket,when rebootingn a pop up askig to repair root when booting up tried it also

Is the phone rooted now? and what version of Kingroot were you trying?

@ Hovatek yes the phone is rooted and i have removed kingroot using only supersu.
