I NEED HELP IN SOLVING SP FLASH TOOL ERROR DURING ROOTING

I just realized now that the recovery I am trying to flash is mt6580 but the chipset for my fone is mt6572. That matters right?? Btw, I downloaded the recovery from the tecno w3 tutorial blog on this site

Yeah it does use a different scatter file or use miracle box to flash. https://forum.hovatek.com/thread-13894.html

Rename the scatter file to match your chipset

It seems there are two variations of the tecno w3. My own chipset is mt6572 while the one on your site is mt6580. That could be what is causing the error....how do I rectify this

* did you try @Hovatek's suggestion?
* can MTK droid tools detect your W3?

I have done the rename option, it didn't work but I am going to try the miracle box option next
