Also, sorry for the late reply.
Np. Try updating ur drivers again and make sure to download the latest miracle box from Hovatek forum and let see.... miracle box should work for u....

My drivers are up to date. I can't find a more updated version of Mystery Box on here, though. I have version 2.27A. I still can't figure this out.
Please try the miracle box tool on different pc

I found Miracle Box v2.38 which claims to fix this issue for some devices. I'll try it out and update you.

So I was able to do it but I got this error: http://prntscr.com/cp166o

I couldn't find a crack for it so instead I used 2.74A.

since you have two l8 plus(s)
why don't you try this..
backup the clock apk from the working phone,
then uninstall the clock app from the fault phone > reboot the phone > install the apk collected from the working phone

OR better still
back up the one without this clock issue using TWRP
then restore the backup to the one with the clock issue

As mentioned before, I tried that and it did not work for whatever reason.

----------------------------------POSSIBLE SOLUTION!----------------------------------

After some digging around, I found a temporary solution to this and I also think I know the culprit. It's Google Now Launcher. Google Now Launcher had somehow deprecated and corrupted the shortcut in the whole launcher to where it crashed whenever I did anything with it. I was able to temporarily be able to use it again by telling Google to "Wake Me Up" at a certain time, therefore making another shortcut in my statusbar that opened the clock app differently. To this day, I have not found a fix or found out what triggered it but I hope this solution will help other L8 Plus users, too. Thanks for all the help. I think this thread should be closed now since my problem was resolved.
