[Development] How to root the Tecno Phantom 6 (A6)

Like flashing the recovery image. We dont know how to flash . Where do u flash with what? Then the Zip Files do we copy them the way they are to the folders , why dont u give us just the required apk to avoid confusion. Please help and sorry for bothering you to things seem ovious to us this a new frequency.

(20-08-2017, 02:25 PM)Jzto Followed the steps closely and managed to root my phone. Downloaded root checker and it says successfully rooted device. However when i try to uninstall apps they don't get uninstalled. Is this device really rooted.

rooting doesn't affect userdata partition

but i'm not sure, because in this thread https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-15453.html i can read
"* Backup your important stuff as unlocking the Bootloader wipes your data"
So next question - does unlocking the bootloader wipe the userdata partition?
