I have a Gionee M6 and have flashed the custom recovery cmw, It is this that is bricking my phone. I try to use SP tool to flash stock recovery but it always fails with this message:
ERROR: STATUS_BROM_CMD_SEND_DA_FAIL xxxxxxx
My M6 is stuck on the logo. The offender is the custom recovery. Any advice on how to proceed further?

SP Flash tool might not support your chipset ATM without you holding power and volume buttons before connecting.
