[Tutorial] How to use SP Flash Tool to flash Mediatek firmware
(01-05-2020, 10:59 AM)ikasemota I know unlocking the bootloader will wipe everything on the phone. I unlocked it before, and I flashed a recovery image (twrp) thereby bricking the phone in the process. My phone began to boot loop. In this forum, I read the culprit must be dm-verity or vbmeta. My phone is Tecno pouvoir lc6a. If there's a way I can port twrp to the phone, I will gladly appreciate it.
(15-05-2020, 02:38 PM)Batfly Hi !
I’m actually try to flash an Oukitel WP2 because this one freeze at the loading screen (The Logo appear, but don’t do more, even in recovery mode).
I dowloaded everything except the preloader, but nothing changed. So I tryed to add the preloader file on the list, and here, I have
“ERROR : STATUS_MMC_ERR (0xC0040030)”
and no hint .
Someone have a sollution to this ?
I either try the V3, but I get “Error: initializing scatter file failed. Check the name of the scatter file which you load is legal”. Mean it work only for the V5 regarding another video.
The download still ok when I don’t tick the preloader. But still stuck to the logo screen….
I guess I must format /do a firmware upgrade ? Even if it’s risky ?
If I don't get answer until next week, I presume I will not have another choice to do that :/ .
Thank you !

(13-07-2021, 07:01 AM)chris89 Can you help me with my ONN 100003562 10.1" Tablet? I have the firmware. I just cannot get it to start Flashing. I installed the drivers & I have MediaTek PreLoader USB VCOM (Android)
in the Device Manager. It just won't start flashing for some reason?
(13-07-2021, 07:01 AM)chris89 Do you think after clicking Download, on a big operation it will just take a long time & it will complete eventually?
(13-07-2021, 07:01 AM)chris89 PS - My battery is at 45%, it's not enough to flash huh?
