The CWM recovery isn't compatible. you'll need the firmware @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-311.html
1. Whats the Android version of the M3
2. If its 4.2, check the pics @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-311.html if its the Blue or Black background type

Make an MTK backup. Also backup IMEI and NVRAM in MTK Droid tools
