If you find yourself in a situation where you try to check your account balance on your Blackberry but it dials like a regular phone call then here's a work around
* Dial your networks's customer care number
* Wait till your call gets connected (you hear welcome to X customer care)
* You can now dial the code for checking your account balance, load a recharge card or dial any other code related the subscription you wish to activate
* Ensure you dial these codes while connected to the customer care number you'd dialed above
* Note: Once you subscribe for a BIS plan, you should stop getting this error.
