[Development] How to root Gionee M5 Mini MarshMallow

The Gionee M5 Mini is an MT6580 powered phone running on Android version: 5.1 but can be upgraded to Android version: 6.0
Before proceeding with this guide, ensure your build number (Settings > About phone > Build number) is as follows
Code:
[sw version]
M5 min_0301_V8235
[HW VERSION]
M5 mini_Mainboard_P3 

OR

[sw version]
M5 min_0301_V8334
[HW VERSION]
M5 mini_Mainboard_P3

How to root Gionee M5 Mini running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow
  • Install VCOM drivers on your PC using https://forum.hovatek.com/thread-440.html
  • Download SuperSU 2.78.zip @ [ Login / Register to download free]
  • Copy SuperSU.zip to both the phone’s SD card and internal storage
  • Download CWM for Gionee M5 Mini Marshmallow ported by Team Hovatek at [ Login / Register to download free]
  • Switch off the phone (still with battery inside)
  • Backup your current firmware using the guide @ https://forum.hovatek.com/thread-13347.html
  • Copy the preloader.bin from your firmware dump to the same folder as the CWM recovery image (ensure to replace any previous preloader.bin file)
  • Flash both the preloader.bin and CWM recovery.bin to the phone using Miracle Box @ https://forum.hovatek.com/thread-14106.html
  • Boot the phone into recovery mode using Volume up button + Power button
  • In CWM recovery, you use the Volume buttons to navigate and Power button to select
  • Select Install Zip
  • Navigate to the location of the SuperSU2.78.zip on the Internal storage and select it
  • Wait till flashing is complete
  • If you are prompted to fix root, select No
  • Reboot the phone normally
  • Confirm Root by installing and running Root Checker

Hi Hovatek, for some reason unknown to me Miracle box isn't installing on my laptop, and my phone is a match to the above described build number u mentioned, I would love u to help me upload the preloader. bin on this post, so I can use urs to root my phone, thanks a lot. If Miracle Box isn't working on your PC then the preloader.bin is useless to you.
Which Miracle Box version did you download?

i backup the file
replace  the preloader
place the recovery and preloader in same folder
but while booting it shows error as brom:?3 error by sp flash tool
and the process willnot start using miracle box ...
