Thanks.

We've listed 2 Gionee M6 firmware @ https://forum.hovatek.com/thread-389.html
The first one doesn't contain a system.img . The second is likely a higher Build compared to yours. Someone (lower build) who tried it said it bricked his phone. If you must try the second (with system) then untick all other partitions and tick only Android (system.img)

My gionee m6 is completely stuck in recovery, with android icon lying on its back and says no command, I can't boot in recovery or bootloader. please kindly help out please.

This is going to be a challenging one but we'll go ahead anyway.
Download the MT6755 scatter file @ https://forum.hovatek.com/thread-12724.html
you're going to attempt a readback using SP flash tool @ https://forum.hovatek.com/thread-526.html
I'll guide you through the process, just let me know once scatter file is downloaded

Now, using the guide @ https://forum.hovatek.com/thread-526.html , dump recovery.img and boot.img seprarately.
Skip the MTK Droid tools part, you already have the scatter file
Get the start & length values you need (for recovery and boot) from the scatter file

linear_start_addr = physical_start_addr = start
partition_size length

Hmm.. What version of SP Flash tool is that?
Also, you need to try to get the phone into fastboot. Try different button combos

SP_Flash_Tool_v5.1708, this is the version of SP flash tool.

Getting the phone into fastboot has been difficult. I will try and update back.

Try this,
Boot into recovery, then check if there is anything such as "reboot bootloader"

If there is, then that option should get you into fastboot

Also retry the readback process using the immediate previous version before v5.1708
