Guys, pls be careful with this method. U might brick/damage ur modem. U might end up not having Network/signal after this because the balong loader sometime wipe ur NV data, rendering it useless. That's how I lost my Huawei e8231 modem.

This only means you did not read the tutorial to the end. Always read instructions in full before you go announcing that they don't work

Hi MOD good day. Please can I use this method to unlock my ntel huawei E5573CS-322
I noticed that the software version of my device is newer than the one on the tool for flashing. Will my device be bricked if I use an older version of software to flash on my device running the latest software version? The software version that came with my device is the latest version
My software version is 21.326.62. 00.1449
My web UI version is : 17.100.18.01.1449

the software version / webui of all customized mifi's is usually higher than those used for unlocking. so long as its an E5573CS model you have, then the procedure in this guide should work.

At last I was able to flash and unlock my ntel huawei E5573CS-322 device after bricking it initially.
OP your method here is actually incomplete that's why those people complained that it didn't work for them. There are actually 4 files to be flashed but you only instructed 3 files to be flashed. After flashing the WEB UI file, the next step is to flash the E5573cs UPDATE_21.318.03.00 file otherwise the modern won't come to life. It will only be showing just one light. For those who have their device bricked, restart the flashing process and flash the following files accordingly
1 Balong USB Downloader 1.0.1.10
2 E5573cs UPDATE_21.318.99.03. 00
3 Update _web UI. 17.100.15.01.356.MRES
4 E5573cs UPDATE_21.318.03.00. 00

OP kindly update the main tutorial with this procedure to complete it. Thanks for your service.

I have successfully flashed and unlocked my ntel mifi. Thanks OP for the tips. I initially missed the step to flash the file after flashing the web UI. It got my device bricked. I later realized the mistake and then restarted the flashing process then flashed all 4 files accordingly.

Another tip here is to avoid flashing using windows 10. I tried almost all day yesterday on windows 10 but I couldn't even boot shot cos my computer wouldn't recognize the device even after installing all drivers, huawei unlocker also didn't recognize my device.... I had to partition my computer and install windows 8 which I then used to flash the device. After flashing, restoring imei and everything, windows 10 still couldn't recognize the mifi on huawei unlocker ... Somehow, the com port just refused to work.

I think windows 7 is best for doing the job.
