Lenovo Ideatab A2107A-H Stuck on Lenovo Logo !

#1

Hi Guys !

How are you ? I hope you would be fine. My Lenovo Ideatab A2107a-h has stuck on Lenovo Logo. I

tried to reset the tablet many times but in vain. I also tried to flash Lenovo stock ROM using SP Flash

Tool but it always gives error as follows:-

Storage type mismatch !
scatter storage type is HW_STORAGE_EMMC
target storage type is HW_STORAGE_NONE

What's wrong with it ?

Please guide me how can I flash Lenovo Stock ROM correctly ? I will be very thankful to you !

That's a mismatch between the firmware (scatter file) and phone.
1. Have you tried using a different firmware?
2. Paste the content of the scatter file here for me to see
3. What version of SP flash tool are you using?

Thanks for giving me your precious time !

I have successfully flashed scatter file into my my Lenovo Ideatab A2107A-H. I have used following scatter file:-

PRELOADER 0x0
{
}
DSP_BL 0x40000
{
}

{
}
EBR1 0x604000

My previous Android version was 4.0.3 but this Android version is 4.0.4. I am facing a problem when I watch any video using VLC Player or any other Player the quality of colour is substandard. But when I use MX Player to watch video then the result is normal.

I am not fully satisfied with current version of Android.

I have used SE_A2107A-H_ATT_A404_SP for flashing and I also have used Smart Phone Flash Tool (Runtime Trace Mode).

Can you give me Marshmallow / Lollipop scatter file so I can flash Marshmallow / Lollipop in my Tablet?

Thanks !

Good to know.
I don't know if there's an official Marshmallow update for your device.
You'll have to search for an update under Settings > About > System update or you search for a custom ROM

Can you tell me whether I have installed Recovery Mode in my Lenovo Ideatab A2107A-H Tablet or not ?

If yes then can I install Marshmallow / Lollipop Custom Rom (CyanogenMod) and GAPPS in Recovery Mode ?
If not then how can I install Marshmallow / Lollipop in my Tablet ?

I believe you mean custom recovery.
There's no way for me to tell unless you boot into recovery and list what you see. That way, I can tell if its stock or a custom recovery

I am talking about CWM Recovery Mode. Is it already installed in my tablet or I will have to install manually ?

Because when I flashed Lenovo Firmware into my tablet there was a file named as ''recovery''. So, I thought it is already installed.

Can you send me the link of CWM Recovery for Lenovo Ideatab A2107A-H ?

yours must be running on stock recovery then.
For CWM, try

Please, create a new thread for that as we've deviated quite far from the issue this thread was originally created for.
