Quote:Download the MT6737T scatter file @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-12724.html then unzip it.
You're to readback recovery.img alone using the guide @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-526.html
Skip the MTK Droid tools part since you already have a scatter file.
You can get the needed values for recovery from the scatter file.
physical_start_addr = Start
partition_size = Length
Upload the recovery after readback
(08-04-2017, 10:10 PM)iamwhizkid This is the recovery >> https://www.dropbox.com/s/s8po7fctsyd3b5...y.zip?dl=0
I have a question though. Is there another way to split a ROM_ file gotten from SP Flashtool readback without MTK Droid Tool?
I'm asking this because I'll like to get a backup of my phone's ROM just incase but MTK Droid Tool isn't recognizing my phone. I've tried everything. Therefore I can't access the "prepare ROM_ for flash tool" option. Thanks.

Quote:You'll need MTK Droid tools to do that and MTK droid tools doesn't support your chip. You would need to readback one partition at a time
I'll commence porting the custom recovery.
Now, unlock the phone's Bootloader using https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-17421.html
let me know when done
(10-04-2017, 11:38 PM)iamwhizkid Done, Sir.
